okay so i know there are a million questions about how to wire the ignition/changing it etc and this is another one of those questions, i cant seem to find the right answer so here it goes

the previous owner of the bike took out the ignition switch to get keys made and lost it, so heres my question, could i go to the auto part store and get a starter switch and wire it in place of the other one?(i dont see why i couldn't but i thought i would ask first)

also if i can there are 3 wires, red which would be +, blue = ? , brown = ground?

im just looking to do a temp job to get atleast get it started

just twist the wires together if you just want to start it.

red and brown need to be connected as there's no ground needed for a switch.

blue is usually headlamp main.

In short: Yes you can go buy a standard starter switch and wire it in no problem.
kool, i would probably do that for temp

just twist the wires together if you just want to start it.

red and brown need to be connected as there's no ground needed for a switch.

blue is usually headlamp main.

thanks, i did do that and it ran just fine
