Wanted - Anyone have a spare '82 XS400R front disc rotor?

My BIG question ... the rotor from the XZ550 is 4.75 mm wide (maybe 4.7, my digital micrometer is twitchy). The rotor on my '82 XS400R appears to be 5mm wide.

I've been told that thickness/width is very important. Will my XZ550 rotor work? Safely?

i have a 1980 xs400 front rotor not sure if it will work good condition no rust or nothing on it 15 bucks plus shippin an its urs

I've got one but I live in Vancouver Canada so the shipping probably wouldn't be worth it. You measured the XZ 550 disc at "about" 4.75 mm. A lot of discs have minimum thicknesses stamped on them. Check both your discs. I think they are probably the same taking wear into account. 1/4 mm is about .010". I would think Yamaha would standardize these discs to save money. Just my opinion.
