Anyone used MikesXS 4ohm coils?

I just bought and mounted the black coils rated for XS650 but ad stated they can used with 1977 XS400 as well: https://www.mikesxs.net/product/17-6805.html

I've read a lot of bad things regarding these and haven't had a chance to fire bike up yet due to my buddy rebuilding my carbs......

I sure hope I didn't waste my money

You can always test the ohms on them to see if they are in spec.

Yeah, we did, ohmage match so hoping they work - just look/feel kinda chincy.....that'ts what i get for paying 28.00 a piece for equipment
