Are the Drum Brake Rear Hubs Common?

I want to replace the 16-inch rear, drum brake wheel with an 18-inch drum brake wheel.

Documentation says that the rear axle size for all XS400s is 17mm. But, are the brake hubs common across all XS400s, or do I have I need to locate both 'halves' of a rear wheel for the year model of the 18-inch rear wheel?

what year bike? Yamaha used the same wheels/hubs on different models but would need to know the year to cross reference

ok these bikes used the same rear hub, but you could also lace a 18" rim to your 16" hub if you find the right spokes (Buchanan's?) http://www.buchananspokes.net/ if you can't find a different year wheel,
