back firing poping help! please

Okay finally got my bike running today! Idle is great, have stock air boxes but I do have cut off exhaust no h pipe (shorties) the bike will back fire and pop little fire balls around 4/5k rpms seems like rpms go up little sluggish at times not always, anything i can look at in my carbs,? Anything I can try or should I just send them out to get looked at and maybe rejetted not 100% sure if bike got re jetted for the shorties! All help appreciated!!!

you'll need to rejet if you cut off the exhausts, open up the carbs and check your jet sizes

popping is usually running lean
