my carbs have been leaking into my airbox. took them off and had a guy clean them. put them back on and there was still a leak. after a closer inspection i felt like the problem could be the diaphrams so i just got to new ones in today from http://www.jbmindustries.com/HITACHI.html which i have already instauld. (totally stocked about them) however im noticing the the two slides fall at different speeds. i know nothing about this so but do remeber the pain it was to get these things back on figured id ask for some advice if i should be worried or do something else while there off.

Thanks for any advice

No need to worry. The slides will rise and fall in reaction to how much air the engine is sucking past them. It's not gravity that affects them (and from the video, neither has enough drag to worry about them sticking.)
