carb identification

i took my carbs of my '81 xs400 special, and i am in the process of getting them cleaned....i want to replace the hideous factory airboxes with the cone filters...problem is they sell these filters in so many sizes....can anyone tell me how many millimeters my intake ports are on these stock carbs? Mikuni Kogyo....dont have a model number but here are some pics..thanks! also is there any fine tuning necessary when changing from airboxes to cone filters? Thanks for all your help!

Your carbs are Mikuni BS34 with 54mm inlet.
