my carb is leaking on my xs. its pouring into the air filter how do i solve this? is it the float?

more than likely yes the float is set to high try adjusting it.

Welcome as stated before a lot of information can be found in the manual available on this site including setting the float hight. A quick summary is hold the carbs upside down and measure from gasket surface to top of floats. If its the brass floats the setting is 26mm +-1mm. Another thing to check is take off the float and give them a good shake, If you here fuel rattling that could be also weighing down not allowing to close.

It is also good to make sure the float valve is working/good shape. If you have never changed them or cleaned them you might want to get some new ones.
