coverting to kick only

Im new to doing this and was hoping to get some good info. Can I just remover my starter and continue using my kick? What else would be involved? Really appriciate any help...

There are a lot of threads on this in the garage. After you remove the starter you need to remove the chain. If you are looking to remove more weight you can also remove the stater clutch and gear. You will need to plug the hole, I used a freeze plug on one motor but on my other two I used the factor block of setups that came with the 78 2-e and 79 2-f models ( the xs360 2-d also had this).
