Does the tci need earthed?

Hi guys on the back of the tci there is a metal plate held with 2 screws does this need earthed to the frame? Also. There is one wire cut on my tci unit. Has anyone got a pin out of what does what??

I believe that it is nothing more than a heatsink as there is a ground in the harness. What is the colour code on the cut wire? You should be able to trace it in the manual. you can download individual chapters in the thread at the top of the Garage.

Unless that plate is for bracket purpose, it will surely a heat sink for the tci.

Nope not ground...it is grounded through the harness further along.

You need to start a build thread for your bike. This way you can keep all your questions to one place. It will make it easier for people to help. Also post pic of the bike so we can see what you have.
