painting is addictive.i need to set up a better method on painting because the last two things i painted fell off the hangers and ended up covered with cat hair
Okay...bike porn time...got the seat mounted (now all i need to do is make an ass-pad). Mounted new carb holders, and it will now idle without choke, but it is rough, erratic, and backfires. When I back out the mix screws, it seems to get better, but not a whole lot. I'm thinking that this means larger jets? Any recommendations on size??
Also installed new blinkers, flipped the headlight (looks waaaay meaner), and painted the headlight trim to match the pinstripe. I think that it is coming together nicely.
Okay, so for seat pad color, i cannot decide between black or the kinda cream color of the racing stripe....what do you all think? (I will be painting the fork lowers flat black and wrapping the pipes in dirty white with chrome shorty/reverse megaphone mufflers)....
Since you're asking for opinions on color & design, I idea of the light color seat pad has a strong appeal to me. I think that the contrast of the light seat will make the whole bike visually 'pop'.
thanks man! I tend to agree with you about the seat pad. I am leaning in that direction, I just thought I would send the idea out to the sounding board.
