First ride at last

Even though it was only briefly in the carpark to check its running.

858 days after buying the first part to build a bike, i rode it for the first time today!!!!

I still have to tot up the parts total as every single item was brought on ebay and all i started with was two blown engines one top the other bottom all for the miniscule sum of £15 WINNING!


Feels kinda weird to now start dismantling her to fully weld and paint the frame and clean and freshen all the parts up.

But hey Yayyyyyyyyyy

its the only time I've ever wanted to kill someone! the knob kept smiling and showboating for the cameras!

Yeah this bike looks awsome, nice blend of old and new. Btw im not sure if you saw but someone put your photos on theyre cafe racer blog and was praising the look of your build saying they had something like that in mind to do and you beat them to it. I wish i saved the link to give you, anyway they were loving your bike!

a lot less than standard I'd imagine. Unless you top up that CX tank and the weight may double

Yeah should be lighter, the wheels alone are a huge difference
