Float with a dent

Took the carbs apart to clean and I noticed that on one side of a float it is pushed in just a little bit. Will this be ok or does it need to be replaced. It is a small indent about the size of a dime.

One off the wall idea would be to submerge the side of the float that has the dent in it in some boiling water. Just thinking if it is a shallow dent with no crease, that maybe the heat will increase the pressure inside enough to push it back out.

Another idea would be to clean it real good and solder something to it, maybe just a piece of wire, to pull the dent out then unsolder and clean off.
