Flyweel Alternator Rotor Removal Tool Size.

Well I needed to remove my rotor to fix the started clutch.. i know i needed a tool to do so but no one seemed to know exactly what size i needed. even the dealership said I could borrow one if I know what size they had no idea. So I found out out and thought I would share for anyone else that is looking in the future.

Removal tool size is 16mm with 1.5 thread... not sure what else it fits but it will take off the flywheel of a 78-81 XS-400

Wow i feel better now..

Oh and the little half moon keeper is a pain in the ass to keep in place when putting the new rotor back on..

I lost that stupid key when I had mine in pieces... had to make a new one with the grinder and a grade 8 bolt head. Wish I knew about that thick back then, Drewpy!
