Front Brake line too long

For anyone who has experienced this problem. How can i shorten my front brake line?
Changed my handle bars and now my brake line is too long. Was thinking abour cutting and clamping but thought the pressure of the line would be too great for that. Any advise?

I don't know shortening it because of the fittings, but if there is someone local who makes brake lines they might be able to shorten it. Or, it might be a good time to upgrade to steel braided brake lines. I took a zip tie to help keep the extra line pulled closer to the frame and out of the way on my bike.

you can't shorten standard brakes lines. you really need to get braided like tw8872 said

Mine was too long as well after changing to a low rise mx bar.
I used a line from a skidoo rev I had lying around

Ok, thx for advice also. Unfortunatley i dont have a skidoo LOL. gonna go to local shop and get some braided line and put together.
