Front brakes master cylinder leaking

It looks like my front brakes master cylinder is leaking. I saw splatter of brake fluid on my handle and when i removed the rubber cover there was a lot of oil inside. It seems like its been leaking for a while because the wiring and paint around the master cylinder is peeling(just got the bike a month ago). Can this be repaired or should i be looking for a replacement?

They do make master cylinder rebuild kits. New seals and whatnot.
