We just received a pair of 0 Ohm plug caps from ebay and I plan to install a set of Iridium BPR7EIX plugs. Any suggestions on gapping the plugs? Standard for BP7ES is .7 to .8 mm.
NGK plugs tend to be well gapped from the factory. I always double-check before I install them, however. I consistently get a 0.711 mm measurement with a feeler gauge.
If you do have to gap an iridium plug just be EXTRA careful not to touch the fine tip. The disc-type gapping tools are no good for this kind of plug. You want to pry on the ground strap alone.
