As I am new to this bike I need help. I have a xs400k. I saved it from a shed it sat in for 10 years and the brake fluid has gelled up. What is the best way to purge it and clean? Or can I get new parts? thanks

Brake cleaner gets it out. But if it is that bad, take it all apart, and scrub it in the kitchen sink with hot soapy water. Brake fluid (not DOT5 which is silicone based) can be washed off with soap and water. Don't scratch up the bore where the seals go.
