Hi guys,
I have an on going bobber project and after a re-doing the stator wires I finally got the machine running. I took it for a short ride and it "electrocuted" me through handlebar levers. It was like high frequency tingling feeling instead of a massive shock. Could it be that the charging current from stator is going through the frame? I checked with multimeter's beeber mode that the wires I reworked from stator are not connected to ground. Does rectifier or regulator need to be grounded? Help appreciated!
