harness swap ?

Hey guys I have two xs400's one is a ,77 the other is a 81 . the 77 I bought from a guy who tried to start it and ended up burning it down. the 81 comes without papers the other has them so can I swap over the harness to the 77 although the 81 has electronic ignition can it be placed on the other engine .

Yes but you will have to use all the components for it to work not just the harness.
