Having starter problems

Im having issues with my starter its clicking buy not turning over I put a new battery in it but its still not turning the starter over anyone know what to do

I checked all the grounds and there all good and its still not working its pissing me off

Did you charge the new battery? Mine needed charging when I bought it.

I am 63 and I can do it with a bit of a run up. Just how far out of shape are you Drewpy????

I was able to get the starter to turn over a few times but no luck starting the engine now the starter makes a whining noise

quite fit actually, I train on weights and run.
