Now then,Craggy.....I'm still looking for a "cheap" 400 but there appears to be a confliction in mine and others definition of "cheap"...I only paid £200 for me 250 and it is a runner too just needs tyres pumping up an mot and I'm away......400 sov's for a bag 'o' shite non runner 400 is extracting the michael in my book.......Robbing buggers.......

I must of been lucky as only paid £130 taxed n tested old guy had it for 25 years and just wanted shot of it, 12k miles, 82 x reg, not mint but looks all original, wasn't advertised some friend told me about it, nearly didn't buy it as thought at first it was an ugly muther.

Welcome to the forum. I contacted D&K in Stafford in december &they had a complete xs400 engine for £200. Not sure what year. I have got the 250 too & have got bits & bobs from wemoto & Yambits, both in the uk.
