My electric start worked before this winter and now it won't even click so I think there is either an electrical issue with something still not hooked up or the electric start doesn't work anymore. I read on another thread that you can bypass the solanoid with a screwdriver to see if the starter is good. I am wondering if someone could explain how to do this so I can check mine out. All help is much appreciated and thanks in advance this forum has really helped me out more than once.

Thanks in advance again.

There are two big metal post on the solenoid. Jump the connections with a screwdriver. Be prepared for sparks.
