I have a Seca 400 but I cannot figure out the method to start it, this thing keeps back firing with no real attempt to go. Any thoughts? I have started it before.

Seems you have developed a problem.Start with the plugs and carbs.Also what year is the bike?Post pics we are pic whores.
Petcock to run, key on,trans in neutral, choke about 1/2 way, kill switch on, pull clutch, start. Do NOT touch the throttle.
If you can't get it, I'm 20 minutes away and have time this afternoon.

Hey thanks for your replies I got it figured out, I was having some intermittent spark issues with the cut off relay. That has been fixed, carbs cleaned and synced and it starts beautifully now. You guys asked for pictures here you go she is 90% complete, needs some more compounding and buffing up the aluminum. Please let me know what you think!
