idle question

Went through both pilot jets and found the left one was partially plugged Cleaned them both to be sure and reset the pilot screws at 3 1/4 turns out. Starts, idles and runs fine. Went for a 10 mile ride and did a quick check on the plugs and both look about the same now. Head temps 295F left and 290F right measured just in front of the plugs on the head. Maybe come out the the full 4 turns on the pilots screws?

Where do you get filter fine enough the protect the pilot jets? I think I run one that is 40 micron but I don't think that's fine enough.

I use a sintered brass filter.

I think at this point, you should just ride it lol. Maybe double check the timing, valves, and sync and finalize it, put a 100 or so miles on it and see what the plugs look like.
