Guys. The Idle speed adjuster screw on a '79 XS400 gets turned in to increase idle speed, right?

It gets turned out (counter or anti-clockwise) to increase idle speed. On the Mikuni BS34 carb, the screw is a fuel adjustment, so turning it out adds more fuel which increases speed.

You're welcome. Just one other caveat here: I was referring to the idle mixture screws on the carbs (one on the top of each carb). If you are referring to the common idle speed adjuster under the middle of the ganged up set of carbs, that one controls the butterfly valves and turning it clockwise opens the butterflies more which will increase speed. Hopefully I didn't mess you up there!

Yes. That's what I was asking about not the mixture screws. Thanks, CaptChrome
