So, I've been looking for an 18" rear mag wheel with a drum break, and have found that they weren't sold in the US. A new member from Denmark (Outlaw) commented in his intro/build thread that he would like to change his 18" drum rear to a 16".... in short I decided that instead of continuing the hijack of his thread (sorry about that outlaw) I'd start this one. The main issue is that even if he was willing to trade me straight up it would cost us over $350 each to ship them with UPS or FedEx!
Here is where the discussion currently stands:
I still want the wheel, and even if I'm not trading I would need to have it shipped. What is the cheapest I can do that for? someone suggested that airlines ship cargo cheaply:
Looked a little at American airlines, and it looks like it might work... if i'm reading it correctly it looks like you can ship a 15kg box for $150.... I'll call and see if an individual can even use them sometime in the next week, unless someone on here already knows
