Is the mac 2-2 welded?

Looking at the pics, it seems it's welded and you can't use the stock finned exhaust clamps. You're married to their mufflers I assume.

I'm not sure I understand what you want to know. On the end that bolts to the head there are some sleeves that are permanent attaches. I didn't notice if they were welded or not but they don't come off. I also wanted to use the finned clamps but couldn't fine a way without major work. I hope that helps!

I mean are the mufflers welded to the headers. Sort of moot if the finned collars can't come off as well.

The mufflers are not welded to the headers.
