just got a tune up and now she won't start

i just got 1980 xs 400 special II. i sent it into the shop for a tune up and new electrical system. it ran fine for a couple of days and now all of sudden it won't catch. it turns over every time but won't catch. i'm think it's maybe the carb? anyone have any ideas?

Hi jkidsfhf, welcome to the site. Tell us a little about yourself, post some pics of your bike, and check your battery. If the battery is fully charged and the bike still wont start, check carbs and plugs. Hope this helps

What did this "tune up" involve? Did you ride it any length of time after the tune up?

Why not contact the shop that did the work? Not trying to put you off but they should be responsible if only a little time and miles have passed.

I ditto Houghmade's question,what did the shop do? I also agree that the shop should stand by their work,but they probably won't! lha

I'd like to know more about the work done as well. If the bike really did run fine for days after the maintenance the carbs would not be my first suspect.
