My kickstarter won't engage when I kick down. Wondering what steps I need to take. Also my electric start makes sound but doesn't turn over.

dont hold the clutch if your kickstarting

I adjusted the clutch cable and got it to kick over! Now my Idle is too high

start by checking your throttle cable, turn bars left-right your throttle cable might be pinched somewhere, adjust as necessary if idle increases. Also it could be that your bike is running Lean or has an Air leak, check all the carburetor boots make sure they're connected well.
