Looks like a Harley.

So today i was showing a few of my friends my project bike (1979 XS400 cafe restoration) and well right now its more or less a pile of primed parts so they had to be content with some pictures i had taken. These friends are not exactly huge bike people. So i showed them the pictures and their first reaction was "Wow, it looks like a Harley" of course after they said this i had to make sure none of them left my house alive

Have any of you had a similar experience?

yep, my MOT tester asked if my tank was off a Harley!

I gave him the dirteiest look possible without upsetting him too much or he could easily fail my bike!

(tank was hand make for the bike)
