Mikesxs petcock doesnt fit.

Sorry to be a postwhore, but as a new member I have many issues.

I bought the 46mm nonvacum petcock for my bike and it does'nt fit. It bolts on fine, but it is so close to the tank, you cant turn it upward. It hits the tank when you try to point it upward. I can only use "reserve" and "off".

Also, the outlet has a fitting that points straight back, which comes out into the carb. It came with a 90 fitting that I'm using now, but it puts the fuel line right in the way of the choke.

Is anyone using this petcock.

I have one and it works fine took a little bit of thinking but works on all settings For the reserve to work it does not need to go all the way up.

See the semicircular notch in the petcock tang? Fits perfectly now.

I'm an enginuative fellow and I can make it work, I was just expecting it to fit better. My main concern was the fuel outlet being so close to the choke. And the fitting is a smaller diameter than stock. Now the hose is all mashed by the clamp. I guess that's what you get when it's not factory.
