My 78 xs400 Cafe Racer

Having an issue with the bike, I've ridden it 300 miles so far without a hitch. I rode it 30 miles to work the other day and now I have a problem. My right cylinder pops from the exhaust at 4k, idles fine, revs fine but hold the throttle at 4k and up and it starts popping. Also my blinker fuse keeps blowing, I put a multimeter on the battery, reads 12. I turned the key on with the taillight unplugged, headlight off, no blinkers on but my battery drains pretty fast, like it had a direct short somewhere. I don't know if these 2 things are related but I'm sure I can find the short, the thing I'm wondering about is the popping.

check the wiring in the switch for shorts or underpants. :D

4k is when the pilot system give way to the mains, might want to enrichen the pilot a bit more to compensate

The timing was way off, I adjust it per manual, i think that's why it was popping. The plugs were nice and brown, don't look rich or lean. Now though I have no spark. Tried new plugs and a new battery, maybe it's the killswitch?
