Started bone stock with 5,000 miles with a mangled frontend. Been stored in a warehouse at a dealership since it was wrecked back in the 80's. I picked her up at Barber's Vintage Motorcycle Races, swap meet. Guy that had it purchased it from the dealership and got it where it would fire up just to sell it. A few e-bay purchases and tuning and wow! What a nice little ride! Lowered the rear with Honda Rebel shocks, rebuilt ebay front forks, ebay triple tree, ebay clubmans with barend mirrors, ebay master cylinder.......working on the exhaust now along with carb rejet.
Last pic is my VTX 1300 highway bike.

those rear shocks do they give you enough clearance so your rear tire doesn't rub against the fender when going over bumps? They seem quite short
 
So far, have only ridden with these shocks maybe a 100 miles, but that's on rough paved county roads and around town. I made sure to put them to the test. I'm 200 pounds and they haven't scrubbed or hit anything yet. I wouldn't ride a passenger with them.
