I was riding my bike over weekend and I bike would not stay in idle. The engine kept shutting off and I would have to switch to prime, kickstart, switch fuel back to "On" and could continue my ride until I got to my next stop. (Turns out I had a broke needle)
But while on the way home, I noticed my bike was in neutral, however I was actually running in second gear. I only had a couple of blocks to get home so I powered through. But My question why? Does anyone have an idea why that would happen?
I know for a fact I wasn't actually in neutral because I was going about 20. Is it possible the bike somehow "thought " it was in neutral? A problem with the electric system by chance?
