Lol thanks heaps guys! Ive been taking ages on this but thats ok im in no hurry, bit by bit is fine for me. Some good news too, since rebuilding this 250 motor I have aquired a complete 360 motor with carbs for 100 bucks from ebay and motor turns over fine :D

It will be a shame to take out a fully rebuilt motor though. To be honest the little bit of riding ive done the 250 motor isnt all that bad. Im surprised, the acceleration is fine, just doesnt have a crazy top speed.

Its perfect for around town or the suburbs but probably not so great on the highway. I really enjoyed riding it, I guess it a bit of a novelty for me as ive mostly ridden inline 4's and 2 strokes my whole life, never had a twin. It sounds great with the pipes ive got on it, very loud and sounds bigger than a 250:laugh:

Yeah thats a good idea I was thinking along those lines too. Just have it on a bench and slowly work away at it. Incidently do you reckon you could use 400 pistons in the 360 motor and get it bored out?

Even if I take out the 250 I can get good money for it because its fully recoed. I like the idea of the extra power going in one day.

You would have to find the bore of each engine which is probaly on the site some where.Im not familiar with the 360 motor but i know there are some memberes here that are.Good job on restoring your bike.
