Hello Liamiii, welcome to motorcycling! It is an involving interest that is defined by poignant experiences. You haven't mentioned if you've already ridden a bike yet or not but the solitary experience of riding your bike through the world can be an amazing thing. That said, you have two very different bikes that can give very divergent rides and feelings according to what mood your are in. Enjoy both for what they are, the XS can take you around for short rides when you aren't in a hurry and the CBR can take you anywhere far and fast. Both are great bikes.
