Just saying hello from Upstate NY and showing my 1981 XS400H SPII bobber. Enjoying my first ever build on my very first motorcycle! This time of year here in Upstate NY is perfect riding weather.

I'm in a small village called Deferiet just southeast of Fort Drum.

I think that's about 4 hour drive from here that's a long ride on a hard tail......
I remounted my top shock to make it look like I stretched it , but I still have about 1in
of travel

I COULD RIDE IT NOW BUT , IM NEED THE RITE SEAT AND TANK TO BE COMPLETE....
I JUST GOT A 3 DAGREE RAKE KIT FOR $100 SOOO ILL BE TAKING IT APART AGIAN .IM LUCKY TO HAVE A MOCK UP BIKE ( USE IT LIKE A PROTO TYPE )......IM GONNA USE THE SAME LENGTH FORKS SO IT WILL MAKE IT LOWER AND LONGER...
I NEED IT LOW AS I LOST MY FEFT FOOT 18mo. AGO (MOTERCYCLE ACC.)... SO I USE SUICIDE SHIFT

I just got another toy.......1980 kz400 $200 been stored inside all its life and started a couple times a year so it runs .
Im gonna go old school cafe with cluch and push button shift....so ill be selling all stock parts
