New member from Arkansas

Hey all, I'm a new member from Arkansas. I'm a student and new to working on, and riding motorcycles. I bought my first bike ever about three months ago, it's a '78 xs400. So far it's been a real love hate relationship getting it to where it is today. It still needs a lot of work, but that's why I'm here!

Bike looks great! You've done some great work... love the grip and seat match. Thinking about that for my build... also. "'ol Huey"... love it.

It hits me..... if i had been handy, i would try to make the end of the sadle look like an old helmet

You know it's funny you mention that. I had a Vietnam Era M1 brain bucket I was thinking about doing that with. I probably would have, but I had already spent too much time struggling with fiberglass to justify it. I may end up building a mount for the helmet somewhere..
