new member introduction

Wanted to introduce myself I have joined up since I recently was given an 81 xs 400 by my uncle . Bike is in pretty good condition actually had it running today . My son and I are building it for him he is 15 now and going into his second year of shop class in school . So far we replaced blinkers bars grips mirrors not planning on doing any permanent mods since the bike was unmolested (except the mufflers) when we got it . This will be the fourth bike I have brought back too running riding and looking good condition . I do not have any specific questions right now . Wanted too get myself introduced before they came up . have a nice night

Not too sure about the angle of that front master cylinder . Need to free up the front caliper ( possibly rebuild ) and see if it works out .
