Hey everyone, I recently picked up a 1980 XS400SG and joined the site. I'm new to motorcycles and the maintenance that goes along with them. I've got some great info from reading through some of the forums. Thanks for passing along the knowledge.

Thanks guys. I'll have pics once it's up and running. I have the seat, tank, and carburetor off at the moment and I'm waiting for the new carb mounts. It wouldn't be fair to the bike to have pics of its current state.
