Oil Amount

Just wondering what everyone else has put into their bike. I know the book says around 2.5quart, but I know the book has been wrong about a few things.

Yep, that much if change filter

I thought I saw smoke/streamcoming from the top of the engine, will check level tomorrow.

Could also be crap burning off

That filter screen cover (6 small bolts) and screen have to be removed or adding 2 1/2 would be too much.

Top of engine where? at oil filler? or from alternator cover removed
