Thoughts of any parts that i should replace that i might over look any suggestions would be great. And what websites or where do you think is the best place to buy them bikebandit? denis kirk ?

which version xs?
For you 80 xs400 carb parts can be purchased from mikesxs.net For other stuff you can find a lot on ebay or just go to a yamaha dealer it might cost more but you will have good and the right parts. Also there it speed and sport or yamatopdog.com they have lots of nos stuff.

In perusing ebay today,I saw some parts for xs400s. Don't know what year,as I was looking for other stuff. lha

I am also in the process of rebuilding an xs400 engine. Have any of you guys done this before. If so, what are the standard rates for a rebore?
