Painted my tank.. Kitsch or not?? Cetainly not the usual...

Here is my spare XS400 tank that I am painting at the moment. Tamiya hobby paint and brushes. Will hit it with 2 pak clear coat when finished.

Not quite finished... Kitsch??? or simply a different approach??

its awesome my friend you are very talented! Is that freehand? Are you adding colour to it, I think it would look awesome with bright bold colours like Japanese tattoos. Cant wait to see it with clear

The work looks great! Especially since you did it your self. I also like the lack of colour. It is different from what one normally sees.
The subject matter is not something I'd want on my bike. I see all kinds of custom paint jobs on bikes, most of which I don't like the subject matter. But that doesn't take away from my appreciating the work itself. Painting or drawing artistically is not a skill I possess, so I appreciate those who have the skills to create such art.
