I need the expertise of the forum again! Im looking at part numbers for pistons and rings. I believe these numbers are for 0.5 oversize xs250 piston and rings.

Part numbers i have if i read them good are: 1MO-11630-20 & 1MO-11630-41

My questions are:

Is this correct (the part numbers being for 0.5 overbore) and are the xs250 piston and rings different on the DOHC models as opposed to the SOHC models?

My model is a 1979 XS250, engine number starts with 2U3 from memory. Up till what year did they run the same pistons in the XS250?

Would these be suitable for my bike, or are they for a DOHC model or something?

newb calling drewpy, newb calling drewpy, come in drewpy:laugh:

1st over is 1M0-11635-00 55.25mm
2nd over 1M0-11636-00 5.50mm

Please everyone reading this; forget ANY cross over from dohc to sohc completely different models.

Cheers mate i knew you would come through for me:thumbsup:

yeah thats what i thought, thats why i wanted to check these part numbers.

So it looks like they arent for the sohc xs250?
