i recently opened up my carbs and looked inside at the pilot jets and found out they were drilled by last owner. I don't know if this will be a problem with it working properly as I havent started this bike in awhile. Even then it had carb problems.

I think that on most of these bikes, the pilot jet tube is supposed to be plugged, whether by a screw in earlier years, or rubber plugs in later years. What year is yours? Also, did it have plugs when you opened it up?

Here's a rubber plug version

The only way to see if it's a problem is to put it together and try it, but if it were me, I'd consider ordering up the pilot jets in the stock size and just replace them.

1981, thinking bout ordering new pilot jets anyway, but I can't get them out. They have no thread.

You will need to get them out and get the rubber plugs to cover them. The bike will not run right if you don't.
