hello,

for mikuni bs34 (xs400se) , the pilot screw is it air or fuel screw?

what do I put if I unscrew, air or fuel?
tks

tks, what do you mean with "if it is not plugged"?

Here in the U.S. there was a metal plug installed over the screw so owners couldn't mess with the very lean factory setting. Probably used in other countries as well but I am only familiar with the U.S. bikes. If the plugs are in the carbs, we drill them out to have access to the idle fuel mix screws and turn them out to about 3.5 turns from a gentle seat. Factory setting was 1.5 turns out.
