PROBLEMS!!!!!

Well lastnight took my 400 for a ride around 10pm ran amazing ran good for the past week now after sitting for 9 hours i went out to take off on it this morning then it was spittin sputtering and back fireing and rpms would bounce from idle up to 4 or 5 grand out of no where then drop back to idle any ideas?

Carbs have become clogged or your air box came loose.

Do you use an in-line fuel filter? Any rust in the tank?

Pull the carbs, blast out the passages in the pilot and float needle seat especially. Inspect the air box.
