    Sweet, I have the hardcopy of that edition. Good to have a pdf for when I misplace the book.

    I have a pdf version of the Haynes XS250/360/400 1975-1978 edition. Don't have a dropbox account though.

    See Saltire's dropbox link above.

    It's not as high a resolution as the the 1975-1984 pdf but the book it was scanned from was in better condition, plus the spark plug diagnosing picture is in colour.

    Looks like my link expired but the one further up that saltire posted does cover that year.

    I've been meaning to clean up the quality of the one I posted. Will need to find a better hosting option.

    Hey yall. Im a newbie to the forum so ihope i am in the right place. I am trying to set the valves right. My problem is when i turn the 17mm bolt on the alt. It will get to a certain point and stop. No movement after that spot. Even if i stand on the kicker. I had it started just a few days ago. It was only running on the right cylinder and the left was misting fuel out of tge intake side of the carb. Any help?

    Hey everyone how's it going??? I'm having a little problem with my 1981 Yamaha xs400.... How the heck do I tune/sync these carburators..??? Can someone explain the screws to me,?? Air/fuel screw is IN more my ß fuel or air?? The screw that connects the throttle, where do I want that set it?? Please someone HELP ME!!!!
