I think I need to fabricate a new rear bearing spacer (goes between the bearings in the hub).

Does anybody have one of the spacers handy from a mag disc rear wheel (1979 XS400 D) that they could measure with some Vernier calipers?

Thanks for any assistance

Hi CAD leave it with me , I'll get back to ya.

Just come back from Hols

Do you need the top hat spacer as well?

No mate, just the length of the spacer. For some reason when I've assembled the rear wheel I got from Germany the bearing spacer does not tighten between the bearings. The wheel was from the same model as mine, but the spacer seems short??? It only seems like a couple of millimeters but that would probably be enough to fuck the bearings when tightened. I just want to check the length of the spacer against somebody else's.
